Tripod lamp made of solid olive wood, crafted in Provence in the 1970s. Sculpted directly from branches, it features an almost zoomorphic silhouette: its three legs evoke a living form, like a creature in motion. The olive wood, with its dense and twisted grain, has been worked in harmony with its natural curves. The wood displays a beautiful warm patina, acquired over time, and retains its original polish that highlights the swirls and colour variations characteristic of this material. Significant artisanal work has been done to integrate the electrical wiring within the lamp itself. The wood has been carefully hollowed out to conceal the wires while preserving the strength and integrity of the piece. This craftsmanship reflects the quality of the work of Provençal artisans in the 1970s, capable of transforming a raw element of nature into a luminous object that is both functional and sculptural. A unique piece, at the intersection of folk art, intuitive sculpture, and raw design, ideal for adding character and poetry to an interior. Dimensions. Total height: 72 cm (with shade) Width: 40 cm. Depth: 35 cm.
