This complete 12-piece crystal glass set from the Bolero Bubble series is the work of the German manufacturer Walther Glas, dating back to the 1970s. It comprises eight dessert bowls (15 cm diameter, 3 cm height), a large bowl (21.5 cm × 7 cm), a footed serving dish (30 cm × 6.5 cm), a rectangular platter (34 cm × 15 cm), and an ashtray/small bowl (14 cm × 5.5 cm). Each piece is crafted from pressed crystal glass with a cool, transparent hue and features a distinctive, three-dimensional bubble texture reminiscent of water droplets. The surface is highly glossy and refracts light impressively, accentuating the sculptural geometry of the forms. Thick, rounded edges and a substantial build underscore the sturdiness and high-quality craftsmanship characteristic of West German design from that era. The set is preserved in very good, original vintage condition; the glass is clear, free of cracks or chips, and retains its brilliant luster. It pairs beautifully with ceramics in neutral tones or with metals such as chrome, steel, or polished aluminum. It works particularly well when combined with simple linen textiles or a light-colored tablecloth, allowing the interplay of light and texture to stand out. In a collector's interior, it can serve as a striking table centerpiece, while in more eclectic spaces, it complements other glassware from the same period. The listed price is for the complete 12-piece set.
