In 1956, Benno Premsela created the Benno mirror, an ingenious and minimalist object. Nearly 70 years later, it has become a true design icon. Legend has it that Spectrum asked Premsela to design a beautiful interior decoration accessory. Premsela rummaged through Spectrum's stock and semi-finished items and came out with a wooden ring intended for a table. He made a notch in it and announced to Spectrum that his project was ready. The Benno mirror was born. It consists of a 50 cm diameter beech plywood circle. The square mirror fits into the frame thanks to a notch located at the top. The entire mirror has a depth of 7 cm. This model is a vintage piece from the 1964-1971 collection. The mirror is still in good condition, despite some signs of use, such as slight wear on the white varnish and a few age spots on the glass. In the bottom right corner, the mirror is chipped, but this remains discreet as the chip is mainly located inside the wooden frame. Please check all the photos for a precise idea.
