Pair of Vintage Pots-à-feu – Sculptural Stone Ornaments

Pair of Vintage Pots-à-feu – Sculptural Stone Ornaments. An exceptionally decorative pair with a beautiful, almost archaic sense of form. The flame-shaped finials and softly sculpted profiles give these pieces a distinctive sculptural presence. Classic architectural ornamentation that sits wonderfully between historic character and contemporary interior design. Originally conceived as decorative elements of garden and architectural ornamentation, these Pots-à-feu are equally at home indoors. Particularly striking when displayed as a pair, flanking a sideboard, console table or mantelpiece. They also work beautifully as individual sculptural accents, adding an interesting contrast to a more understated, contemporary interior. The surfaces feature a lively, subtly varied texture with darker veining. Age-related wear and a few minor chips are present, adding to their character and patina. A timeless pair with plenty of decorative potential – equally suited to a garden setting or a thoughtfully curated interior. Measurements (each): Height: approx. 31 cm. Diameter: approx. 22 cm. Weight: approx. 17.2 kg. Offered as a pair.
