Eva Englund (1937-1998) was a Swedish glass artist who worked for the biggest names in tableware in the 1970s in Sweden. Feeling the need to produce her works, she created her company in the late 1980s. She released the Malakit series in 1991 in opaque green glass. To achieve the desired effect, she used the grail glass technique, which consists of covering the first layer of colored glass with a second, transparent one. Encouraged by the success of this creation, she offered the blue version called Indigo. The bowl for sale was marketed by the Swedish company Maléras. It is one of the artist's last productions. Signature Eva Englund in relief under the piece and sticker of the manufacturer Maleras on the rim of the bowl inside. It is in perfect condition. Dimensions: height 18 cm, top diameter 23 cm, bottom diameter 5 cm. Weight without packaging: 2.3 kg. Recycled packaging.
