El Lissitzky Set of 3 D61 Chairs for Tecta Germany 1930s/1970s

Set of 3 D61 chairs, designed by El Lissitzky in the 1930s and manufactured by Tecta Germany 1970s. Originally the chairs were designed for the Hygiene Exhibition in Dresden 1930s. Tecta reissued this model for a short period in a wooden version and in this more rare acrylic/plexiglass version. The set is reupholstered in original cowhide, which makes a fantastic combination with the transparant plexiglass. The chairs are in good condition. Some light scratches here and there and 1 chair has a tiny damage at the bottom of the armrest, as visible in the last photo.
