Vintage Scandinavian bed and lamp signed NK 1959

Vintage scandinavian bed stamped with the swedish brand nk 1959. Nice vintage style with its sled style feet and solid wood quality manufacturing. It comes from the "stockholm hotel" in paris closed in the 1970s. It is sold with its vintage flexible lamp which it stamped with a small "s". It works and brings a little more this look to the 60s. The bed is in good general condition because after being recovered, it served very little in a holiday home. It still has some traces of use given its age but it remains discreet. The box spring is also swedish but does not appear to be the original one (probably changed at one time by the hotel). The bed is sold as it is because the box spring is still quite usable. However, it is very easy to disassemble the base to keep only the head, the foot of the bed and the base, to redo a wooden frame and accommodate a new box spring. A plaque of the brand "nk inredning" and the date of manufacture of september 27, 1959 is present on the base. All the furniture in this hotel was made by this brand who collaborated with designers of the time (see photo of the plaque on another piece of furniture from the same place). A second bed as well as the bedside table that was in the hotel room is available with a plate of the same brand and date of manufacture.
