Space Age orange desk lamp – 1970s

Superb vintage desk lamp from the 1970s, with a distinctly Space Age/Pop design, in the style of Italian creations by Targetti Sankey. It stands out with its beautiful bright orange colour, large adjustable globe, and black flexible arm, finished with chrome fittings. The globe features fine horizontal openings on its upper part, a particularly characteristic graphic detail of this model. The flexible arm allows for easy light orientation and modification of the lamp's silhouette according to use. The switch is directly integrated into the base. The lamp is in very good vintage condition and works. The orange paint has retained a lovely shine, and the chrome parts are well preserved. There are some slight signs of wear, including a small discreet scratch/chip on the globe, visible in the photos. The underside of the base retains its old green felt. No visible manufacturer markings. The model is very similar to Italian lamps from the 1970s now attributed to or associated with Targetti Sankey; this attribution cannot be confirmed, so the lamp is offered as a model "in the style of". A very beautiful decorative piece from the seventies, equally interesting on a desk as on a console or bedside table.
