Historical view: "sudety" initially specialized in household glass, preferring the production of uncomplicated patterns, modest in shape and color. At the end of the 1860s, the glassworks mastered the production of double-layer antico glass. After 1945, many artists collaborated with the glassworks, designing both unique and serial glass. Other well-known artists working in the glassworks were: józef górski (1966-1968) and stefan sadowski - a designer from 1968, and between 1975 and 2008 the manager of the company's center of design. Ewa gerczuk-moskaluk and zygmunt janota were also associated with "sudety", working there for a short time. Until the 1990s, production was based on sodium and lead glass. At the end of its activity, the plant produced only crystal products - blown, pressed manually and automatically, with a rich design. The steelworks was liquidated in 2014 and then dismantled.
