Golden wood sun mirror 46 cm

Large old sun mirror in carved gilded wood. Magnificent handcrafted work from around 1960. The wood and ice are in excellent condition. (no element is missing or damaged). Sun mirrors in carved wood and gilded with gold leaf have decorated churches since the Renaissance. Then they were brought up to date in post-war interiors. Chic and authentic. A beautifully sized piece that will give a nice vintage touch to a living room, entryway or bedroom. The mirror measures 46 cm in diameter, 15 cm for the mirror alone. The wall hanger is installed.
