8 Niels Jorgen Haugesen String chairs for Tranekaer, Denmark

Set of 8 dining chairs by Niels Jørgen Haugesen. 4 wood stains and 4 black lacquered. The chairs have a wooden frame. Upholstered seats covered in leather. The minimalist, modernist frame is complemented by an angular detail on the backrest. The backrest support is made of interwoven nylon cords. Produced in the 1980s, the chairs are in good condition and show signs of wear consistent with age. They also bear the original manufacturer's mark under the seat. Seat height: 44cm.
