THONET chair No. 142- 1/2 from 1905 caned

A sober, elegant, almost "modern" chair. Thonet bistro chair No. 142-1/2 with caned seat and leg support ring. Circa 1905. The so-called "half" chairs have reduced dimensions of 5 to 6%, except for the seat height which remains almost the same as on the standard pieces. This saved space and places in the "bistro". Stamp under the seat.
