Antique Art Nouveau iris flower earthenware pitcher by Villeroy & Boch Wallerfangen

This superb antique pitcher is made of Villeroy & Boch earthenware. It's a delightful Art Nouveau jug, decorated with beautiful water lilies, specifically irises. The "Iris" pattern features a blue silkscreened design. This rare piece is marked with the Mercury mark "IRIS Villeroy & Boch Wallerfangen," used between 1885 and 1909. It is a rare and antique model. In good condition, it measures 17 cm x 8 cm x 18 cm high. Note: signs of wear, cracked and yellowed base, three chips (at the base, spout, and rim).
