Trompe l'oeil plate

Decorative wall plate trompe l'oeil. It is made of ceramic and varnished slip. These plates were produced in the second half of the 20th century in the ceramic workshops of southern france. They were bought by tourists and visitors as a souvenir of their stay on the côte d'azur. A large part of these plates were produced in the town of vallauris located in the alpes-maritimes between nice and cannes. The front is in very good condition, 2 gaps to report at the back of the plate (see photo) at the back of the plate. Diameter: 22 cm.
