Set of 13 antique beaded brass cleanliness plates + handle – 19th century

A beautiful set of 13 antique brass door plates, accompanied by a door handle, featuring very lovely scalloped shapes and beaded or moulded borders. The set offers a beautiful golden patina and a consistent vintage condition, with signs of use that testify to its age. These plates are typical of decorative hardware from the late 19th and very early 20th century, likely from around 1880-1910. Their beaded decoration, symmetrical shapes, and rounded pediments reflect a Louis XVI / Napoléon III style, highly appreciated in bourgeois interiors of this period. Some pieces appear to come from slightly different series or models, which gives the set particular interest for the restoration of doors, furniture, cabinets, or antique woodwork.
