Side table base forged iron and glass top

A rectangular side table base in forged iron with very 'oce curved supports.dating from early 20 th century of course the base has a really 'oce look and patina which I have just enhanced with a bit of oil.tje feet are particularly nice, hammered by hand flat.the table base in in excellent condition for the age, no cracks to the forged iron. For the top I have used a piece of "glace sécurité" from possibly 1970, the glass is heavy so just sits on the base, If you look at the photo you can see glace sécurité engraved on the glass, This combination works extremely well, the glass is very good quality and reflects the light superbly. It's very different, putting a piece of 1970 glass on an old forged iron table base but it looks sublime, and the glass is such good quality.
