Murano glass pendant, 1970s

Magnificent vintage suspension from the 1970s made of Murano glass, of very nice size, characterised by a superb speckled decor in deep shades of green, blue, amber, and brown. This glasswork, typical of the Murano workshops, creates an organic and lively effect, almost mineral, that subtly captures light. Its elegant elongated bell shape is enhanced by a glossy finish and a delicate brass rim at the base, adding a warm and refined touch. Once lit, the suspension diffuses a soft and enveloping light, highlighting the richness of its colours. With its dimensions (44cm/17.32" in height without the chain and 25cm/9.84" in diameter), it constitutes a strong piece, ideal above a table, in an entrance, or in clusters for a remarkable decorative effect. Each suspension is handcrafted, making the patterns and shades of the glass unique to each piece.
