Monumental executive office set / Art Deco / Walnut / 1940s.

I am offering an exceptional, complete study suite from the 1940s, representing the classic European Art Deco style. The furniture is crafted from high-quality walnut featuring a rich, deep grain pattern that serves as the primary decorative element on the fronts and tabletops. The set comprises two impressive, perfectly harmonizing pieces: Bookcase: Features a glazed upper section with several rows of spacious shelves—ideal for books, collectibles, or glassware—and a lower section with three lockable cabinets finished in decorative walnut veneer. A clean, architectural silhouette softened by the magnificent wood grain. The glazing allows for an excellent display of your collection, while the spacious lower section offers discreet storage for documents or household accessories. Double-sided executive desk: A large, substantial tabletop supported by two wide side units. One side features practical pull-out drawers/shelves on runners, while the other houses a spacious, lockable cabinet (shelf missing); a convenient drawer sits centrally beneath the desktop. Classic Art Deco proportions, elegant locks and hardware, and a stable, stately form—perfect for a home office, professional practice, or stylish living room. Condition: The furniture is in very good vintage condition, retaining a tasteful, natural patina acquired over time. There are minor signs of use consistent with the pieces' age (such as faint scratches or scuffs on the wood), none of which detract from their aesthetic appeal or functionality. The locks are in working order. One of the glass panes has an internal chip in the bottom-left corner (visible in the photo). Dimensions: Bookcase: Width – 218.5 cm. Height – 179 cm. Depth – 40.5 cm. Desk: Width – 163 cm / Width under the drawer – 61 cm. Depth – 83 cm. Height – 78 cm / Height under the drawer – 62 cm.
