Old floral cotton velvet rug or throw with fringes, 180 x 130 cm

Large antique cotton velvet textile, to be used as a rug, throw for a sofa or bed, or as a wall hanging. Relief floral patterns in burgundy, green, and cream on a golden beige background, with a diamond border and green fringes around the edges. The fabric is soft and fluid (not stiff): it folds easily and drapes beautifully over a sofa or bed. Dimensions: 180 X 130 cm. Condition: good for its age. Signs of use and slight wear on the velvet in places, visible in the photos.
