Rocking chair in Indian rosewood, Pondicherry 19th century

I sell this extraordinary original model of rocking chair era british empire created in the mid-19th century and hunted in a village in southern india near pondicherry. Made and shot with a rosewood now very rare (also called rosewood of indian origin), I had it completely restored by an indian carpenter in pondicherry. I also worked with a local upholsterer to offer him a new seat in the pure british indian style. Transported from pondicherry to paris during my move. Dimensions approx: Height 100cm. Width 56cm.
