Three-seater sofa by the great English designer Robin Day (1915-2010) habitat edition. The model was created in 1964, it was re-edited by habitat in 2000, this one dates from 2013 and this model is no longer produced. It is made of supple, soft and silky chocolate-colored leather. The structure is in solid varnished ash and chrome with a square section. The cushions are removable. Robin Day's design is inspired by Le Corbusier but it clearly has its own personality. The design of the cushions gives them a slight inclination for completely ergonomic seating. This creation is an iconic piece by this great English designer who at the time created it for the Hille house. It is in very good general condition and has been little used, no tears or tears in the leather.
