Vintage tennis racket 1920/30 "Titanic" Henri Darsonval

Authentic vintage wooden tennis racket from the famous French brand H. Darsonval, model "Titanic." A magnificent testament to the golden age of French tennis in the 1920s - 1930s. The racket is sold complete with its original wooden press (tensioner) and metal butterfly screws (one screw missing), essential at the time to prevent the wood from warping. Characteristics and condition: • Model: Titanic (superb original logo with red star and laurel perfectly visible on the heart). • Signature: H. Darsonval clearly readable on the handle. • Stringing: Original natural gut, still complete and tensioned (very rare for its age!). • General condition: Superb cosmetic conservation for a century-old object. The wood has a beautiful patina, the black reinforcement edges are intact. The leather grip is original. No recent restoration, the item is "in its original state" for collectors. Solid and healthy.
