Large art deco mushroom lamp 1930 - jean noverdy - 60cm

Superb and authentic, large living room lamp from the Art Deco period, signed by the famous Dijon master glassmaker, Jean NOVERDY. This prestigious piece stands out for its exceptional dimensions and perfect state of preservation. The dome is made of marbled glass paste (multilayer glass). When off, it displays beautiful shades of powder pink, amethyst, and violet with inclusions of dark powder. When lit, it transforms the light into vibrant, warm amber orange. The decoration offers a superb spiral texture. The signature, engraved with a diamond point by hand, reads NOVERDY on the outer face of the dome. The base: rare and elegant, modernist tripod in nickel-plated brass, in excellent condition. The glass dome is intact, and the metal retains its beautiful original patina. The electricity is fully functional.
