Rare set of three Elchinger Atelier ceramic bowls. France, 1950.

Very beautiful handcrafted production from the famous workshop of the late 1950s and early 1960s. The Elchinger workshop, founded in 1834, is based in Soufflenheim (Bas Rhin), a town of potters since the Gallo-Roman era. The set consists of three two-colour ceramic bowls glazed in orange-red, two of which are large (rare), signed on the underside. A very beautiful graphic and artistic work that will immediately enliven a monochrome interior or a simple table. In very good condition with some signs of age, this beautiful table art is over 70 years old. Dimensions: Bowl 1 (rectangular): H: 11 - L: 28 - P: 22 cm. Bowl 2 (round): H: 11 – D: 28 cm.
