Small Art Deco buffet - restored vintage radio cabinet

Previously, it played music. Today, this old radio cabinet is enjoying a new life as a characterful small sideboard. Probably made during the first half of the 20th century, it has all the details that give it charm: - a carved wooden front with floral designs - a geometric frieze - compact proportions that allow it to easily find its place The piece has been completely disassembled to restore each element separately. Gone is the old dark and uneven varnish 😉 I sanded it down, cleaned it, and protected it with a new, lighter and warmer varnish that better highlights its original carvings. Its upper part retains its ingenious opening system: the same compartment is accessible via the lift-up top or the drop-down front. The interior has been dressed in floral wallpaper that echoes the flowers of the cabinet. Repurposed from its original use, it can now become a small sideboard, a bar cabinet, a coffee corner, or storage for dishes, books, and linens. It will fit well in an entrance, a living room, a dining room, or even a bedroom.
