Vintage Floor Lamp • Frank Ligtelijn • Raak Amsterdam

Magnificent mid-century floor lamp, designed by frank ligtelijn for the dutch company raak. This lamp is part of the raak globe series, created in the 1960s. Unlike the globe 2000 model, the light presented here is particularly rare. The smoked glass globe with its conical aluminum inner reflector is held and encircled by a wide, openwork champagne-colored metal ring. The smoked sphere is adjustable in height and swivels on a vertical chrome-plated metal stem, which rests on a round, champagne-colored metal base. The lamp is in excellent overall condition. The globe is intact, and the chrome and metalwork are in very good condition. The wiring and foot switch are impeccable.
