Important original chandelier by poul henningsen 1894-1967 (denmark) for louis poulsen (editor) Concentric steel blades, lacquered glossy white on the outside, lacquered matt on the inside, mounted on a frame with four brushed aluminum hoops. OBJECT WITH ORIGINAL SIGNATURE. Ideal for cathedral ceiling, glass roof or dining table top. One light (2 spare). Suspension system provided by an adjustable steel cable hidden inside the top of the chandelier. Conical white plastic bail cover. Original condition, some minor wear on the lacquer. This is a posthumous production based on drawings by Poul Henningsen from the early 1970s (see page 135 of Scandinavian Design, Taschen edition) a model similar to the << Snowball >> model reproduced on page 536 of 1000.
