Ancient flacon in siliceous ceramic with lead glaze, from the Qajar period (18th century) in the style of Iznik productions. Rectangular in shape with a short flared neck, it is adorned with a delicate polychrome floral decoration painted by hand: large stylised blue and pink flowers, green foliage, and yellow highlights, on a cracked beige background. The lead glaze exhibits a beautiful old patina with a natural network of crazing, attesting to its authenticity and age. This antique piece shows some signs of wear, including a vertical crack on one side, small losses of glaze at the edges, wear to the edges and corners, and natural crazing of the glaze. Origin: Persia/Turkey. Period: 18th century, Qajar period. Material: siliceous ceramic with lead glaze. Decoration: floral, hand-painted.
