Pair of Neoclassical Victorian Silver Plated Candlesticks

This pair of silver-plated candlesticks illustrates the Adam Revival style, revisiting the neoclassical elegance of the 18th century. The slender, quadrangular stems are adorned with sculpted ram's heads and hanging knot motifs. The square base is decorated with bas-reliefs of garlands and knots. Height: 26 cm, base: 9.5 X 9.5 cm, weight: 759 g and 752 g. Good overall condition, with a slight dent on one of the bases, wear, and some losses to the silver plating.
