Danish mid century teak beds, set of 2, 1950s

This pair of Danish teak single beds was made some time in the 1950s. Crafted from solid teak and teak veneer, it embodies warmth, precision, and timeless balance. Overall frame dimensions are H: 67 / W: 90 / D: 197 cm.  These beds feature a organic, minimalist silhouette with a sturdy teak frame showcasing the warm tones and rich grain patterns. Constructed with exceptional attention to detail, the joinery and transitions between elements reveal the craftsmanship for which Danish modern design is renowned. The beds rests on solid, contrasting wood legs, giving it a light, floating appearance despite its robust construction. Its minimal design allows it to blend seamlessly with both vintage and contemporary interiors. The wooden frames have been cleaned and renovated with professional compounds to enhance the wood’s beauty.
