Space Age Eye Ball Lamp, 60s-70s

Very beautiful lamp circa 1970. Model called "eye ball" (resemblance to an eye) completely in the space age spirit of this period. Made in germany by dbgm (stamp under the base). Entirely in chromed metal, interior of the globe in aluminum, it consists of a base (diameter 17 cm and thickness 1 cm) in the center of which rises a support rod (49 cm), along and around which is positioned a globe diffuser (diameter of 15 cm), mounted on a ball joint (length 8.5 cm) allowing it to be oriented in all planes. 180 cm electric wire. Sold with bulb. In perfect condition, there are just a few micro-scratches on the base, without aesthetic impact. Uncommon and very qualitative model, design and trendy, this pretty lamp can also be used as a desk lamp, bedside lamp or ambient lamp in a living room.
