Thistle-themed decorative plate by Daniel Étienne in Vallauris

Appetizer-style plate decorated with a Vallauris thistle motif, typical of Daniel Étienne's work. Entirely handmade. The thistle is depicted in relief enamel on a slightly transparent white enamel background that allows the clay color to show through. The rim is bordered by a turquoise line, typical of Vallauris ceramics. Made from local red clay. The plate has a cloisonné shape with five distinct compartments, perfect for appetizers or serving several different dishes. 23 cm in diameter and 2 cm deep. In very good condition.
