Folding table

Oak folding table. There are tables that serve to eat, and others that tell a story. This one does both. Oval oak folding table, fully restored with care. The top has been stripped back, freed from its old finishes, and then varnished to reveal the warm and vibrant grain of the oak. A healthy surface, pleasing to the eye and touch, ready to endure a few more decades without complaint. The base has been intentionally left in exposed oak to maintain an authentic reading of the wood and visually anchor the table. The frame and legs have been painted in a soft and elegant green, adding a subtly contemporary touch without betraying the soul of the table. The perfect balance between tradition and modernity. Its folding system allows for space modulation, transitioning from an intimate table to a convivial one, just as was done so well in the past. This table most likely dates from the mid-20th century, between the 1940s and 1960s. A robust, elegant, and sincere table. Some signs of wear are visible on the table, particularly on the legs.
