Beautiful large glazed stoneware jar, handcrafted from the workshops of Puisaye or more broadly from Central France, antique, late 19th century - early 20th century. Elegant ovoid shape topped with a long narrow neck. The stoneware is covered with a partial ash glaze, clear, with shades of beige, red earth, brown, and khaki, animated by speckles and natural firing effects.
