Low lounge chair — oak and chrome, 1930s

Modernist design with a tubular structure in chrome metal, in line with the cantilever research of the time (Bauhaus spirit). Its seat and backrest in solid oak have been hand-stained to reveal the depth of the grain. Its low seat height makes it an ideal lounge chair. Perfect as a lounge chair in a reading nook, as an accent chair near a sofa, or as a statement piece isolated in a characterful interior. Complete restoration: wood cleaned, sanded, stained, and finished by hand. The original metal structure has been cleaned to reveal its natural patina. A unique piece to integrate into a modernist, industrial, or eclectic interior.
