Charming pair of bedside tables dating from the 1950s, typical of the post-war modernist style with its understated lines and balanced proportions. Not attributed but clearly inspired by European production, probably French, these pieces reflect the craftsmanship of the era with particular attention to detail and finishes. Made entirely of wood, likely oak or mahogany veneer on a solid wood structure, these bedside tables feature a beautiful warm hue and pronounced grain that gives them a lot of character. Each has a front drawer with an original round knob, as well as slightly angled tapered legs, characteristic of 1950s design. Slight differences in patina between the two pieces testify to their authenticity and history. Ideal as nightstands in a bedroom, they can also be repurposed as end tables or small accent furniture in a living room or hallway. Their compact size makes them easy to integrate, while adding a true vintage and warm touch to your interior.
