Scheurich Keramik West Germany 296-26 enamelled ceramic vase

A very fine example of west german ceramics, this vase combines a pretty curved and balanced shape and a charming enamelled décor with very warm colors ranging from chocolate brown to cream white through caramel (it is a beautiful cream white and not gray as the photos might suggest). Below, in relief, one can read "scheurich keramic, w. Germany, 296 -26". 296 being the number of the model and 26 its height: it is 26 cm high, for about 18 cm larger diameter. It is in very beautiful condition, neither cracks, nor shine, nor scratches. It weighs 1.2 kg. Another vase, a little larger but quite similar is available in my shop.
