Stoneware bowl signed Maurice A., entirely turned and then hand-decorated with a stylised fish painted under the glaze. The signature "Maurice A." is engraved under the base. Made of glazed stoneware, this piece features a beautiful palette of deep greens, celadon, glazed brown, and shades of rust. The decoration, executed with a free and expressive gesture, evokes the aesthetic of French ceramic studios from the 1960s-1970s. This bowl belongs to a coherent set of animal-themed creations by the same ceramicist, made using the same technique, with the same range of glazes and an identical shape, each piece featuring a unique decoration.
