Small carved wooden jewelry box, Folk Art of the Black Forest, early XX th

Charming little fruity wooden jewelry box featuring a bird. Work finely done with a lid and a base with edges chantournés on a background of foliage, probably the last productions of the genre of the early twentieth century. The inside of the box is covered with a midnight blue velvet fabric, it is numbered 477. I note past accidents located at the level of the wings of the animal as well as on the contour of the lid, and one of the rear hinges. The lid closes properly.
