Large olive wood salad bowl sculpture — Jean Paul Brin, Vallauris

Magnificent salad bowl made from solid olive wood, hand-carved and signed by Jean Paul Brin, Vallauris (stamp visible under the bowl). A unique piece with organic and irregular shapes, carved from a single piece of wood. The grain is superb, with shades ranging from golden honey to deep brown, typical of olive wood from Provence. Sold with its two matching salad utensils (spoon and fork) made of olive wood. The freeform shape and wavy edges give this piece a sculptural character, making it both a decorative object and a table utensil. Ideal for serving a beautiful salad or as a catch-all / centrepiece. Very good overall condition, with a patina of use that enhances the character of the wood. Some scratches inside the bowl (visible in the photos).
