Pair of sculptural wall lights in moulded glass and metal. Italian or French work, circa 1970. Amber tinted moulded glass and translucent glass, brushed metal structure. This pair of wall sconces rests on a square platform in brushed metal, featuring an arrangement of amber tinted moulded glass elements and translucent glass arranged around a central exposed bulb. Each sconce develops a stylised floral composition evoking an abstract corolla, with the light source forming the heart of the composition. The glasswork presents a dense and slightly irregular texture characteristic of decorative productions from the 1970s. The honey, caramel, and deep amber hues contrast with the translucent parts that soften the diffusion of light.
