American rocking chair by H.Krug Canada

American-style armchair manufactured by H. Krug Canada, distributed by Ets Mitchell Houghton Montreal. It dates from the 1930s/1950s and is in perfect used condition (see photos). There is no play in the frame, casters, or metal systems. It is made of solid oak and weighs approximately 18 kg. 360° swivel, seat height adjustable from 40 to 49 cm with a cast iron and steel screw thread. The tilting system is backward and the sensitivity is adjustable with screws and two enormous springs. Curved and shaped seat for remarkable comfort! The four casters are original, with USA/UK approval markings. Approximate dimensions: 61 cm wide. 58 cm deep. 88 cm high (in the raised position). Seat 46 x 48 cm. Floor space 52 x 52 cm.
