This original decorative bowl/basket made of neodymium glass was created in the 1980s at the Zelezný Brod Sklo (ZBS) glassworks in Czechoslovakia, according to a design by Miroslav Klinger, one of the most respected designers of Czechoslovak art glass. The form of the object is typical of Klinger's work: dynamic, organic, sculptural, with distinctive, extended edges that create a functional bowl/basket form while simultaneously creating a powerful visual impact. Neodymium glass has the unique property of changing color depending on the type and intensity of light – from cool, slightly blue tones to intense shades of purple and lavender. This makes the bowl look beautiful in both daylight and artificial light. Ideal as: A decorative bowl. A fruit basket. Part of an art glass collection. A design accent for vintage and modern interiors. Features. Manufacturer: Zelezný Brod Sklo (ZBS) Design: Miroslav Klinger. Period: 1980s. Origin: Czechoslovakia. Material: neodymium glass.
