Each piece is distinguished by a delightful polychrome naturalistic decoration featuring regional birds perched on flowering or leafy branches (noted on the back: Blue Tit, Shrike, and Jay). The rim is adorned with a delicate wave-like pattern. A high-end collector's series, elegant and full of poetry, ideal for setting a festive table, serving sweet treats, or as a chic catch-all. The Haviland manufacture (Limoges): Founded in the 19th century by American David Haviland, the house is one of the most illustrious and prestigious porcelain manufacturers in Limoges. Renowned worldwide for its excellence in craftsmanship, purity of white, and the finesse of its glazes, it has supplied the finest tables in the world (including several American presidents and crowned heads).
