Rectangular mirror with a gilded wooden frame and a marbled background.

Rectangular mirror with a wide flat frame, lacquered to imitate a dark marbled background and bordered with two golden fillets. The glass is original, with some pitting and a few spots of silvering along the edges. The frame shows signs of wear in the gilding and chips at the corners. A mirror of beautiful size, to be hung either horizontally or vertically, above a console, dresser, or sideboard. The dark and discreet marbled decor complements both antique furniture and contemporary interiors. The glass has retained its silvering over most of its surface. Dimensions: Width: 56 cm. Height: 66 cm. Depth: 3 cm.
