Large pine monastery dining table with drawers

Large old pine monastery table from belgium, circa 1950. The pine table top has been sanded, stained and varnished with two layers of matt varnish. The base has been cleaned, restored where necessary and provided with a layer of wax. On the side of the drawers there is an extra leg in the middle to support this side. The other long side does not have this as can be seen in the photos. The legroom between the ground and the bottom edge of the table has a height of 61.5 cm. This table was probably used in a monastery where children were boarding school. In the drawers and on the side there are some names and texts here and there. A beautiful large specimen that will not look out of place in a large kitchen, dining room, cafe or restaurant. H 81 / w 308 / d 80.
