smoker's stand Art Deco by Demeyere

Exceptional piece of Belgian modernist design, this smoking room is an emblematic work of the Art Deco / Streamline Moderne period. It is attributed to the famous Demeyere manufacture, globally recognised for its expertise in working with chrome metal during the interwar years. This "all-in-one" model served as a luxury accessory in bourgeois interiors, combining elegance and functionality. OFTEN BROKEN, this one has the matchbox holder still present. The exceptional condition is noteworthy; the chrome is still as shiny as ever. The glass holder and the rim of the ashtray in Bakelite are also in excellent condition, with only a minor dent on the foot, see last photo.
