Art... Duo seat hall bench. A very rare and unique object (hall bench / tête-à-tête) by Chilean artist Macarena Irarrázaval. She is a landscape architect and furniture designer, but in Chile she is best known for her urban sculptures. Her distinctive style is reflected in this piece of art. Her work is rarely offered and rarely comes to market. This is a unique piece from 2002 (confirmed by the artist herself). Made of native Rauli wood and upholstered in red leather. The whispering bench features a man and woman carved in wood at each end.
