Mid-century Corona pendant lamp by Jo Hammerborg for Fog & Mørup, 1960s

Suspension by the Danish manufacturer Fog & Mørup designed by Jo Hammerborg in the 1960s. A simple and symmetrical design with a striking contrast between aluminium and matte black. The lamp body in aluminium has a conical shape and is surrounded in the centre by a wide reflector ring. The ring directs light towards the outer sides of the lamp body and may appear aluminium. Below, the lamp emits direct light. The interior of the slats and ribs is coloured purple and presents a colourful appearance on the outer surfaces of the aluminium light.
