Vintage English bistro table with extensions

1960s English bistro table with extendable oak and beech. Its robust rectangular top features a simple and effective sliding extension mechanism, allowing the surface to be enlarged by pulling out hidden flaps beneath the main top. Height 74cm X length 115/175cm X depth 72cm. Originally a very dark shade, it has been stripped, varnished, and its top has also been waxed. With the appearance of a small monastery table, giving it a solid and traditional look, its new finish highlights its natural grain with a beautiful warm and rich patina.
